Description
Got this traceback out of the blue when opening ISOLDE's Ramachandran plot. Never seen it before, and can't seem to make it happen again.

Looks like this bug has already been reported to the matplotlib team and the reporter says it only happens with 3.5.1 and PyQt5.
I thought we had been using Qt6 since March 11 -- why does this daily build from March 28 have Qt5?

Ah - figured out how to reproduce it. Happens if I click the Show button and then *really* quickly move the mouse over the plot will be before it's managed to display itself.
