Description 

Hi ChimeraX developers,

I'm Julianna, staff scientist in Andrew Ward's lab at Scripps Research. I was wondering if there was any way you could add the "center of rotation method: center of models" option that is in Chimera to ChimeraX? It is much easier to compare many EM maps at once when they rotate at the center of each model.

Hi Julianne,

Several people have asked for this "independent center of rotation mode" where each model rotates about its own center. We were thinking of making a mouse mode that does this. Have not had time so far since there are hundreds of features requests for ChimeraX but we will get to it and I'll send you email when it is in a ChimeraX daily build.

I added an independent rotation mouse mode that is enabled by the tile command. See ticket #2495 for details
