Resolution: → can't reproduce
Status: assigned → closed

Appears to be an error on startup. Status line got an expose event, made OpenGL context current, then immediately got an OpenGL error calling glViewport(). Make the window really was not ready for using OpenGL despite the expose event. Maybe makeCurrent() said it succeeded but instead silently failed. Maybe graphics driver is broken.
