Description
Log window doesn't show anything, and also if I press resent, the main window gets gray. However I can open and view proteins normally. I have tested this in the latest relese candidate and also in the ucsf-chimerax-1.2.5-1.el8.x86_64 version

Both the log panel and recent file history use Qt html widgets and those are apparently broken on your machine. It could be an OpenGL graphics driver bug since Qt uses OpenGL to render those html panes, or it could be that the separate Qt WebEngine process fails on your Linux distribution, probably because of a missing or incompatible library.
