Description
Dear Developers, first of all thank you for such great software! I get error that ChimeraX failed to load libEGL and program shutdowns ( on Win7 system). However, at home (also Win7) I can start and work with ChimeraX. So far i have tested daily build from 07.01.2017 and 24-27.01.2017. libEGL libraries should be provided by operational system or ChimeraX brings them? Am I missing some third-party software on one of my Win7 PC? The answer is that libEGL should be part of ChimeraX, specifically in CHIMERAX/bin/Lib/site-packages/PyQt5/Qt/bin/libEGL.dll. Not sure why it would work on one Windows 7 system and not another. ChimeraX does depend on the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 runtime libraries being already installed on your system. We are unaware of any other libraries that are missing be default. It probably would help if you installed the latest graphics/display driver for your computer. Also, please try a recent daily build since ChimeraX is building a newer version of PyQt5 and Qt.
