Talking with Scooter and Conrad, the current state of a tar file and not working on RHEL/CentOS 7 is okay. This is something we'd like to have for the alpha release, but is not as important as other tickets.

Data points:
- If devtoolset-6 is installed on CentOS 7, ChimeraX compiles with it and then runs on CentOS 7 systems without it (tested with 30 Aug 2017 version).
- Considering using a flatpak to for distributing ChimeraX. Currently available flatpaks are listed at http://flatpak.org/apps.html. Some notable applications include LibreOffice, Skype, Spotify, and Blender.

For 0.7, we will only create the .deb package. Redhat/Fedora will come in 0.8.

Daily builds or Ubuntu .deb's for Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04 are now available.

Now distribute a CentOS / Red Hat 7 rpm.
Ticket #115 mentions missing linux libraries libwebkitgtk-1.0.so and libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0.so. These might have been under wx.
Ticket #114 mentions missing linux library libjpeg.so.62.
