Description
(Describe the actions that caused this problem to occur here)
Trying to start a simulation in Isolde (pressing the play button). If I restart my mac this will work with no errors, but after a while (~hours) I get this error again. I've not figured out what triggers this error to occur after a few hours post-restart.

My *guess* is that your /tmp partition is filling up, and the restart empties it. OpenMM compiles all its GPU kernels on-the-fly every time you start a simulation, so if you run out of disk space you'll see errors like this.
