The LookingGlass rendering works by creating a fullscreen QWindow on the LookingGlass screen. The device is treated as a second screen. It appears that this bug is that the QWindow has not been exposed when ChiimeraX is tryng to draw to it. The code should wait until it gets an expose event on the window before trying to draw opengl. I did not see this error on Linux when I developed the code, so it requires special circumstances to generate it. Since there is no reporter email and it is an obscure feature and it likely will not be reproducible I am not going to work on adding extra code to get the expose event unless someone reports and provides an email address.
