Very nice! The Python traceback shows Windows ChimeraX can crash in creating the OpenGL context at startup in QOpenGLContext.create(). That is a bit disturbing.

Something to be aware of, the Log output in this report is not related to the crash. At the time of the crash the log text is lost. Apparently this user started ChimeraX then did a few things (open model, show surfaces, change lighting, show silhouettes) and then decided to submit the but with the Report a Bug dialog that appeared at startup.

Crashed in QOpenGLContext.create(). This is may be the same bug as #4469, creating an OpenGL context in the wrong thread. In that bug abort() is called on makeCurrent(). The create() method does not directly call abort() or makeCurrent() but calls platform specific OpenGL routines and one of those must have caused the process to exit.
