The following bug report has been submitted:

Description
Typed command "sel /' '" and the command is not echoed to the log.  Only an error "incomplete quoted text" is echoed.  The command needs to be logged so we can understand bug reports.

I believe this is due to Eric's nested use of the command line parser.

The only commands that do "nested" parsing are those that whose syntax is extensible via manager/provider (e.g. open, save, build, sequence). 'select' is not one of those commands. Unless you are referring to something else by "nested parsing", in which case please clarify.

I thought you used nested command line parsers to handle the per-datatype keywords options.

Yes, that would be 'open' and 'save' -- not 'select'.

And it's closer to "multi-pass" than "nested". One pass is made to determine the data types and their keywords, and a CmdDesc is made on the fly and then used to parse the full command. Still not relevant to 'select' AFAIK.
