I _can_ reach the preview toolshed, however startup is so slow that it seems like it's hung. It stopped for at least 20 seconds in "Initializing ChimeraX". I suggest you at least add some additional status messages saying that it's contacting the Toolshed, and preferably also somehow say this is a one-time cost (it was the first time the installation had contacted any toolshed).
