Description (last modified by )
Mike Schmid reports by email that at startup he got
“Bundle ‘ChimeraX-Registration’ custom initialization failed"
I asked him to hit Report a Bug next time. Not sure if ChimeraX even started.

Hi-
I downloaded the build for the ChimeraX that will adjust the headset clipping, and I got a “Bundle ‘ChimeraX-Registration’ custom initialization failed error. Is this peculiar to daily builds, or am I just a bad citizen and not registering?

This may have happened this morning when UCSF had a network outage. Of course ChimeraX should not spew errors when it can't reach UCSF.

Need more details. The custom initialization code seems to only check local files and should not require networking. Does "ChimeraX --debug" provide any more information?

Mike said he would use Report a Bug if it happens again. I have no information about what happened beyond his email.

He was using a current daily build (in order to use a VR clipping enhancement I added).
