If you click on the hyperlink in the Std-Commands text, Toolshed reports request unknown.

I’m running macOS 10.14.6 on an i7 proc with 32 GB RAM.

This was caused by the rename from Std-Command to StdCommands.

How am I supposed to fix it exactly?

Kind of also begs the question of why a session would depend on StdCommands? What state could it be saving?

I'd bet named views were in the session. The view command in StdCommands implements that.

Okay, using a session with a named view saved from 0.93, I can sort of reproduce this. The error is somewhat different:

Unable to restore all of session; missing bundle: ChimeraX-Std-Commands

No hyperlink or other info. Also, nothing restored!

Hi,
Yes, named views were in the session. I have a session file that contains everything I need to make figures for a paper. With pymol, I saved the get_view matrix in a text file for each view which meant that with one session file I could easily recreate the views if I needed to go back and tweak a figure. In ChimeraX, the closest way that I found to replicate this was to use named views. Am happy to supply a session file if it helps also happy to be educated if there is a better way of doing this, especially as now the ChimeraX session files can get rather large.

Cheers

Hi Martin,

Do you mind if I put your latest response on the chimera-users mailing list so that it can be answered there by other ChimeraX team members with better expertise with those features and so that other Chimerax users can benefit also?

Hi Eric,

That’s fine by me. Apologies for the delays in responses. Our mail server connection to the outside was off for a while yesterday.
