Description
Drag a rectangle and zoom to that rectangle. Maybe this would be a modifier key with the normal zoom mouse mode.

Hi Tom, a couple of suggestions that occured to me while using Chimera to prepare some figures:

2: Less important but would be convenient - Zoom to box. I am imagining using a modifer key and click dragging to draw a box, and Chimera scaling and translating to fit - this would be great when one is taking an overall view of a molecule for a figure, and then taking multiple zoomed in views of the same orientation for use as insets, which is quite a common practice. Also - kind of related - currently savepos records changes in zoom level, but Undo Move does not - I think probably for the sake of consistency it ought to.

Of course dragging a rectangle to zoom only helps zooming in, not zooming back out. Currently with zoom and pan on two mouse buttons (middle and right) it is not too hard to zoom without rotating. But I agree the rectangle drag would be easier.
