Model Panel width too narrow

Description
If I close the Log panel then Model Panel shrinks in width to be too narrow.  The show hide checkbutton is half cutoff.  It would be good if Model Panel maintained a width adequate to show all its columns (name, id, color, show/hide, selected).

In Feb 13 Windows ChimeraX Model Panel still shrinks in width so that selection checkbuttons are not visible.

Okay, now that Model Panel will just stay the same width instead of trying to get an accurate "minimum" width.

Now the Model Panel starts out too wide on Windows, about 750 pixels wide.

Reverted to using a fixed-width sizeHint, but with a larger value, so should be well behaved when Log closes. Will investigate less "hack-y" solutions.

Okay, yet another attempt is "out there". This time I will wait until tomorrow to test it on Windows before I close the ticket!

The latest hacky solution seems to work on Windows too.
