Hi,

How are you starting ChimeraX? Are you starting it directly from the .dmg image? If you are are, you should instead drag/copy it somewhere on your actual disk and start it from there. Also, I would recommend using the daily build rather than either the 0.8 or 0.9 versions -- the daily build has a lot of bug fixes and new features compared to those versions.
