Description
The following bug report has been submitted: Platform: Linux-3.10.0-957.12.2.el7.x86_64-x86_64-with-centos-7.6.1810-Core ChimeraX Version: 0.91 (2019-06-25) Description I'm using a dual-screen monitor setup. For the last few weeks, I've noticed occasionally (not every time) that when loading a new volume or changing its representation, the entire ChimeraX window will briefly glitch, seeming to disappear on one monitor, flash up on the other, then reappear on the original and continue on as normal. All over in << 1 second, so hard to see exactly what's happening. Doesn't actually seem to cause any long-lasting harm. OpenGL version: 3.3.0 NVIDIA 415.27 OpenGL renderer: TITAN Xp/PCIe/SSE2 OpenGL vendor: NVIDIA Corporation

Seems to be triggered when there is "too much" added to the right-hand docking region (that is, when the minimum heights of the panels there add to something more than the available height). If I have no models open and have the ISOLDE and Model panels in the right-most docking area, then open a Volume triggering the addition of the Volume viewer the ChimeraX window glitches over from my left-hand to right-hand monitor. Whether it stays there or not seems to depend on where the mouse is - if it's over the left screen then the ChimeraX window jumps back. If I add yet another panel (e.g. by opening the Side View), then the command and status lines are pushed off the bottom of the screen until I close one of the panels.
Wouldn't be the prettiest solution, but is it possible to make this region scrollable?

Not the world's highest priority, but I'll try to look into it as time permits. What I do know is that you can't scroll entire dock areas. It might be possible to force tabbing if the combined minimum heights of the widgets is too much.
Sounds like a Qt bug or Linux window system bug.
