Surface clip cap settings not saved in sessions

Description

Hi Tom, the mesh settings are now restored correctly, however the surface
cap (clipping cap) preferences are not. If I save a session with a mesh
map where surface caps are off, they are on when I load the session.

Fixed.

Surface cap settings (on/of and offset) are now always saved in sessions. Restoring such a session will use the saved settings and not the preference settings. This is the same behavior for background color. The session settings override the preferences.

Hi Tom,

This doesn’t work yet - surface cap settings are still not saved/restored correctly in sessions - was the fix not pushed?

Yep, for got to push the change.  Will be in tonight's ChimeraX builds.
