The reason ISOLDE 12.0 is not installing in your ChimeraX 12 release candidate version from May 2026 is because it needs a newer ChimeraX. Get the ChimeraX 12.0 release and then it will install.

Tristan, I see you put out the ISOLDE 12.0 release with a dependency ChimeraX>=12rc0. Apparently it does not actually install with older release candidates (this bug report using May 13, 2026 ChimeraX 12rc) I guess because the atomic or atomiclibrary ChimeraX modules changed version numbers. I think the best solution is to only allow ChimeraX==1.12.* and not allow installing in release candidates.
