Description

Hi ChimeraX team,

I appreciate the efforts and the latest advancement in ChimeraX. However, I
like creating my CryoEM mask with Segger and extracting the EM map density
using the Segger map. It is working well in Chimera, but I plan to move
completely to ChimeraX without using both software simultaneously. Is there
any chance that there will be any update to implement this feature? I have
attached a screenshot for reference and highlighted the option in the
orange box. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,
Phat

I'll take a look. Segger was developed by Greg Pintilie for Chimera and I ported some of its 30,000 lines of code to ChimeraX several years ago. I've been hoping Greg Pintilie would work on the ChimeraX version as the UCSF ChimeraX lab does not have the resources to take over such a big piece of code. I'll see what Greg thinks about this.

Thank you so much for following up. Please keep me in the loop if there is
