Description
The text at the bottom of side-view that says "auto-clip" should be changed to say "Clip" with checkboxes on if the the near/far plane is enabled. The current wording is confusing as seen in ticket #2032 suggesting to the user that the clip planes are enabled and just beyond the edge of the model. That leads the user to think for instance that the clip command can move that non-existent clip plane.
In #2032 Oliver suggests maybe changing the depiction of the vertical line in the side view based on whether the clip plane is enabled (e.g. dashed vs solid or color). I don't think this is needed if the terminology for clip planes is consistent. The user won't know what the different line appearance means.
