Can't reproduce it on my Mac either. Closing for now.

I also am not seeing the duplicated message in the ChimeraX 0.9 final release.

Seems to be just MTZ that does this. Opening a DCD file with no structure model arg produces one copy of "Must specify a structure model to read the coordinates into", not two.
