Description
The small square controls on the volume viewer histogram have lost their black borders making the white squares on the white background invisible. Apparently changes to support dark mode broke this.

Yes, very embarrassing. I restored the black borders in light mode and made them gray in dark mode. Those changes are [on develop https://github.com/RBVI/ChimeraX/commit/165774f2fa1671fa39c98652373a70c0327a4f86] and have been cherry-picked to master in anticipation of a 1.11.1
I also went ahead and cherry-picked the changes to prereqs/pips/Makefile that install the right Intel scipy for the daily builds and bumped the core version number on the master branch.
If there's nothing else to include I'll start the 1.11.1 builds tomorrow morning

Best to wait until Tuesday for 1.11.1 so Eric and Greg can have a say. Why cherry pick to master instead of 1.11 branch?

I cherry-picked to master because that's the branch the release workflow works on. Right before we release I'll tag the head as 1.11.1

The volume viewer histogram controls are a heavily used interface that is crippled by the controls to adjust the brightness curve being invisible. Let's get this fixed and put out a 1.11.1 point release. I was planning on showing tomography viz at Biohub in a few weeks and it is embarassing that the user interface no longer functions -- I couldn't even find a decent work-around to adjust the display of tomograms.
