Description
... as it would in Chimera, for example. Currently it is very unfriendly, requires perframe action to recalculate at each step, with the added complication of surface close first because it isn't smart enough to notice changes in conformation. The issue is described in a little more detail in this chimera-users post:
http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/pipermail/chimerax-users/2019-April/000479.html
The "surface dust" and "surface zone" subcommands have an "update" option, but the main "surface" command does not.

Molecular surfaces automatically update when atoms move or are deleted. This was implemented some years ago.
