Description
This is an important feature of Chimera's Blast Protein. Otherwise there is little reason to allow searching NR.
However, seems to require change to paradigm, in that you would need to allow choosing a subset of the hits and then showing them in an alignment. It is not something done 1-by-1 (as is currently the case for opening structures).

I believe this is done. Tried it just now in case I was remembering wrong.

If our web service gets overloaded, may want to disable searching NR until showing sequence alignments from the results is available. I'm not sure there is any added value to searching NR within ChimeraX without this capability, compared to searching at the NCBI Blastp website. Once showing sequences is available, one can view sequence conservation patterns in the sequence alignment (without being restricted to PDB sequences only), color your structure by conservation, etc.
