Thanks for explaining how you fixed this crash. The bug report says nothing about what caused the crash, just that it was in the Qt event loop, so it would be a mystery without your explanation.

Was a problem on my end. To fix it, I ran:
sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall
sudo apt install --reinstall libgl1-mesa-dri
