Tool panel startup problems

Description
I have attempted to reset ChimeraX to its default preferences and even deleted the directory stored inside the Local folder, but unfortunately, the issue persists. The log remains unreadable/unusbale, and I am unable to drag or adjust it.   Also whenever i open chimerax i have to manually add models , logs , toollbar .

This report was submitted as requested in ticket #17679. Using the 1.10 release candidate fixed the problems in #17679

I see you have Intel Arc Graphics. The Qt window toolkit uses OpenGL graphics to render the user interface. I don't quite see how that could cause window sizes to be wrong, but possibly some defect in the Intel Arc graphics driver was causing the problem. ChimeraX 1.10 is using a newer Qt version 6.8 instead of 6.7 and maybe it handles something strange in the graphics in a better way.
