Sorry for the problem with the session restore. It is fixed now and the fix will be in the next daily build.

Thank you. I've been having this problem consistently (saved .cxs files do not open)  and just sent the bug report. If I download the next daily build, then I can restore these files?

Yes, the problem is in the ChimeraX code and not in the session file, so once you have the corrected code then the session will open.
