Sequence wrong length during session restore

Description
I was doing normal work for a while, then ChimeraX crashed and I could not restore the session I had saved. This is the 3rd time it's crashing in about 3 hours. This last crash is setting me back pretty bad.

Hi Isabelle,

Thanks for reporting this problem and I'm sorry it caused you to lose work. Do you remember if you mutated any residues before saving the session? Also, how big is the bad session file? If you could send the session, I could recover its log contents and see if I can puzzle out what went wrong.

Yes, I was mutating residues before saving the session.

I'm getting blocked from sending the session file, trying as gzip.

Hi Isabelle,

Without access to your input files I can't reproduce the problem, but looking at the log commands I'd say there's a strong possibility that this bug got fixed about three months ago and the fix is in the 1.9 release. If you run into a session-saving problem in the future, in addition to reporting it I'd recommend closing any windows you don't need (particularly sequence windows) and try again.
