Hi Qingning,

ChimeraX is only supported on Windows 10 and 11. If it happens to work on Windows 8 then that's great, but we do not fix problems that occur on Windows 8. It would be best if you upgraded your version of Windows if possible, and then upgrade to a current version of ChimeraX.
