ChimeraX downloads all OneDrive files

Description
When I try to save a file to a onedrive folder, ChimeraX attempts to download all onedrive cloud files in the directory. When I had windows 10, I'd get a pop-up saying you could block chimeraX's permissions to do this, and that worked. Now I have win11 and I no longer have this issue. Is there something that can be changed in the chiemraX program to prevent this behavior.

ChimeraX is not trying to download any files from a OneDrive folder when you save a file there. This is some OneDrive behavior causing this. My guess is that the ChimeraX file browser asks to list the directory file names and somehow OneDrive then decides to start downloading files. You would have to look at OneDrive settings to control that. The ChimeraX save file dialog is from the Qt window toolkit and so Qt is what would be requesting a listing of the files in the directory -- we have no control over that code.

One way that may get around this problem is if you simply use the ChimeraX save command without the Save File dialog, e.g. "save C:/Users/aaa/.../mysession.cxs".

Maybe a simpler way to avoid this OneDrive problem is save your ChimeraX files to your local disk not to OneDrive, then move them to OneDrive using drag and drop with Windows File Explorer.
