Description
For example: - load structure, color chain A by B-factor. - load chain A sequence: residues are coloured by secondary structure elements by default. Ability to color residues by B-factor instead to match the structure display is missing. There was a work around on Chimera that cannot yet be implemented in ChimeraX, see https://mail.cgl.ucsf.edu/mailman/archives/list/chimerax-users@cgl.ucsf.edu/thread/3ROKKQ2C3Z4LUWP7DYM7PICPL7RMAXDJ/ This is more of a new feature request than a bug. Especially for analyzing models, it would be extremely helpful to display exactly on the sequence where the high/low quality regions are located. Same for hydrophobic/hydrophilic surface residues as calculated by the surface coloring tool. We use these types of information mainly to design constructs for protein expression. Thank you for your consideration, Isabelle
