Chimarax Model Question

Hi,

My name is Damanpreet Kaur Sraan and I am working towards my MSc out of the
University of Regina. I am doing some modeling using the Chimarax software,
but I have run into an issue I am hoping you can help me with. I am working
with 4 different protein models simultaneously and I am trying to select
individual residues from specific models. However, whenever I try to select
a residue (ex. select :272) it selects the residue at that location (272)
on all 4 models. I am wondering what command I need to use in order to
select a specific residue, on a specific model.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

Hi Damanpreet,

If residue 272 exists in several different models, then you have to specify which model you want as part of the command. For instance, if you wanted residue 272 from model 1, the command would be "select #1:272".
