Too easy to delete labels with mouse mode; also no undo
The following bug report has been submitted:
Platform: Windows-10-10.0.22631
ChimeraX Version: 1.8rc202405282004 (2024-05-28 20:04:22 UTC)
Description
Accidentally discovered after manually applying half a dozen custom-text labels to different residues: right-clicking in empty space with the "Label" right mouse mode (I actually *meant* to select the "Move label" mode) deletes *all* existing labels on residues, with no undo. This seems like undesirable behaviour to me.

The purpose of that mouse mode is to create temporary labels, and so being able to delete them all easily is an intentional feature of the mode. Possibly it could remember all the labels it created and delete only those. That complicates code for an very rare circumstance. Unfortunately undo does not recreate deleted objects like labels -- that is also a design limitation.
