Description
I thought the warning messages about unknown format MTZ were supposed to be suppressed when the bundle cache is not initialized. In ticket #15270 with May 20, 2024 daily build the warning is still appearing.
From the Log in #15270:
Log:
Startup Messages
---
notes | available bundle cache has not been initialized yet
Database-fetch provider 'redo' in bundle Map specified unknown data format
'MTZ'

Ok. It is pretty annoying getting spam messages when ChimeraX starts for a feature like PDB-Redo that almost no one will use. It would be desirable to suppress those messages in 1.8.

It was reduced from an error to an info message, not removed. Somehow, the user in that ticket has never successfully reached the Toolshed, since the message before that was "available bundle cache has not been initialized yet".
The plan is to not even issue a message if the toolshed cache isn't initialized, but some toolshed API work needs to happen to enable that -- and it hasn't happened yet.
