Hi ChimeraX team:

How to fix this problem?

AlphaFold Prediction Requires Newer ChimeraX

Alphafold prediction requires a ChimeraX daily build from March 19, 2024 or later.

The ChimeraX AlphaFold prediction service was broken by an update on Google Colab on March 14, 2024.

When i am tryin to install the ChimeraX daily, it is asking to unistall chimeraX, is it Right way to do it?

Status: assigned → closed

You can either delete your previous ChimeraX or rename it when you install a new ChimeraX. I usually rename ChimeraX daily builds to include the date in the name, for instance "ChimeraX April 11 2024.app" instead of ChimeraX_Daily.app and I keep my previous version until I know the new version doesn't have any serious problems.
