Description

The PDB appear to have committed to supporting BinaryCIF, ​https://journals.plos.org/ploscompbiol/article?id=10.1371/journal.pcbi.1008247. And see ​https://github.com/molstar/BinaryCIF. There doesn't appear to be a C/C++ implementation at this time.
