Description
Last time you used ChimeraX it crashed.
Please describe steps that led to the crash here
this might be difficult to reproduce, just trying to open Chimera and it crashed. The system was asking for software update at the same time, perhaps related... After the system software update completed Chimera opened fine again

Thanks for the report. The ChimeraX log says it failed to initialize OpenGL graphics

I guess that could have been due to the pending Linux update which may have been staging an update of the graphics driver. I don't have any explanation why ChimeraX would crash on startup then later work at startup.

Or it might because another user was logged in and was already allocated the 3D graphics resources (a guess because the DISPLAY environment variable is ":1"). Or maybe you were trying to run ChimeraX remotely. That is not supported due to the myriad of ways it can fail. It might work if the exact same graphics driver is installed on both systems.
