Description
Dear ChimeraX developers I’d like to make ChimeraX for macOS available at our University. As our deployment-system is somewhat complicated, we heavily rely on autopkg for automated package retrieval and updating. There is an older autopkg-recipe for chimera (https://github.com/autopkg/n8felton-recipes/blob/master/Chimera/Chimera.download.recipe) but not for ChimeraX, as the download “hides” behing a software license agreement (which is totally understandable if a user wants to download it manually). You seem to use a new way to inject the download-URL and the old method of scraping the HTML of the Download-Page for the .dmg with the most recent version number does not work anymore. Is there a way for you to provide a download-link (or a page that can be parsed for the downloadlink; autopkg can find the most recent version with RegEx’es)? Thank you very much and best wishes Andrei ETH Zürich | Andrei Labin | Senior Systems Engineer macOS OCT H 19 | Binzmühlestrasse 130 | CH-8092 Zürich andrei.labin@id.ethz.ch | +41 44 633 3234
