Description
Installed version 1.6.1 and tried to open 6CNJ as I had earlier but got a "not enough memory" error.  I'm trying to run through a tutorial for a class that I've used many times. I closed all programs except the word file with the tutorial and ChimeraX and got the same result.

Hi Ralph,

Thanks for reporting this problem. We _believe_ we have fixed it in the 1.7 release candidate, but have never been able to reproduce it ourselves so we can't be 100% certain. Could you try to release candidate and see if it fixes the problem for you and let us know? Thanks!

Great to hear that the release candidate worked for you! While we can't exactly guarantee that the production release will happen by the beginning January, unless something really unexpected happens we anticipate releasing it sometime in December.
