volume initialColors/saveSettings don't mix

Description
Using `volume defaultvalues initialColors` works as expected (and is SO great) but adding `saveSettings true` to the beginning or end makes the command fail.

Fixed in Nov 10, 2023 daily build and release candidate.

Thanks for reporting the problem. I tested saving but unfortunately used saturated colors which amazingly didn't reveal the error! The problem was our setting saving code can't handle tuples of numpy float values, it requires tuples of python floats. Put in the needed conversion.
