- Greg will change lighting interface
- Eric will change lighting to one-point for publication presets
- Eric will change default silhouette width to 2
- Eric and TomG will make t-shirt image and send to Scooter
Items
- Chimera T-shirts
- By a 4-3 vote, the plague image is the winner
- TomG suggested using three copies
- Since Eric made the original image, he and TomG will collaborate on the final image
- Scooter will set up the t-shirt order after he gets the image
- Elaine previously suggested that we change the lighting mode for publication presets to one-light because there is better control over contrast
- Question was raised whether two-light contrast behavior is a bug
- Consensus is that although the current behavior of balancing intensity between key and fill light is useful, it is not what most people consider "contrast"
- Rather than revamping the lighting modes, we will change the label for the two-light mode from "contrast" to "balance" and adopt Elaine's original suggestion to change the presets
- Elaine's suggestion to change the default silhouette width from 1 to 2 passed with no dissenting opinion
- Elaine's observation that "scene session bloat" makes scenes less attractive drew agreement from several people.
- David will move scene session size analysis up in priority for release 1.7
- TomG proposed that we split _chimera into _chimera and _molecule
- TomG has completed preliminary work for both Mac and Linux
- The benefits of the split are
- removal of genlib dependency
- migration of otf libraries into _chimera and _molecule
- better modularity
- faster compilation times
- Consensus is to adopt these changes
- TomG will send mail when he is ready to make massive commit
- daily builds may fail for a few days due to sheer number of files that need to be changed
- Meeting adjourned
