1. Tk8.6src for Windows and Linux builds
   • Greg tested these and reports that everything seem to work
2. Design command line syntax for scripts
   • TomG sent around mail and new syntax is implemented by Greg and documented by Elaine
   • Still needs a minor fix to make it compatible with "runscript"
3. Make Chimera build use system Python 2.x when Chimera version is not available
   • Greg fixed this and the error is no longer reported in daily builds
4. Updates
   • Conrad
     • Worked on surfaces. Diagnosed problem but did not have chance to fix it yet.
   • YZ
     • Keren is gone until June so autofit is on hold
     • Taking over Chimera interface to Modeller. Installed latest version of Modeller and starting to work on user interface.
     • Working with STL file in Solidworks
   • Greg
     • Fixed MESA off-screen rendering and exporting bug
     • Fixed Windows build problem (compiler flag for range-checked iterators must be applied either to all files or none)
     • Fixed Linux build problem with zlib
     • Changed GNUmakefiles so the adding DEBUG=1 to make command on Linux will build true debugging version of Chimera
   • TomG
     • Fixed Cocoa double-click problem
     • Investigated memory usage overhead for 64-bit Mac build. Conclusion is that "if you have more than 4GB of memory, use the 64-bit version; otherwise, stick with the 32-bit version"
     • Worked on segger, both development (improving usability and performance) and application (to Auer's termite gut data set)
   • Elaine
     • Documented --script and reading PDB/PQR files
     • Updated home page with new papers
     • Answered chimera-users questions
     • Reviewed PyMOL/Autodock paper
   • Eric
     • Wrote document on ​how to loop over multiple data files in Chimera
     • Worked on sequence annotation code (fetching data from RCSB)
5. Chimera 1.5 Mac distribution platform
   • X11 version will become deprecated and unsupported. 1.5 will be the last version of Chimera to support X11.
   • Cocoa will replace Carbon (Aqua) as native Mac build
   • TomG and Greg will work together to upgrade Chimera to current repository version (8.6) of Tk
