    291291Phil: performance on Apple Silicon Macs? TG: we have a mac mini but not made a native ChimeraX for that cpu, am using Intel emulation, performance seems fine although native version could be faster. PyQT interface not yet available for Silicon.

    293 Some discussion of how to temporarily change $HOME on linux. Philip: got around it by containerizing. Scooter: maybe should have $CHIMERAX_HOME. Greg: have ChimeraX create a temporary home (that gets removed).
