+Phil shares screen showing draft of their webpage with workshop announcements. February 21 9:30a-4p Terrace, Immersive VR. Zach's (1-2:30p) and TomG's (1-3p) workshops running concurrently, Scooter (Cytoscape) 3-4:30p. Asks if descriptions are OK.  Scooter: TomG, should recommend installing ChimeraX 1.7 beforehand since it will be a follow-along and we don't want to waste time during the workshop. Phil: yes and link to download page. TomG: also add link to my tutorial. Similarly for the Cytoscape and medical-imaging tutorials. [Elaine will email Zach about this]

+Scooter: I sent Darrell and Nada the budget information for the next year, haven't heard back. I leave tomorrow for Europe but will be reachable via email.

+Phil: maybe Andi can say more about the study we want to do? Andi: not ready to do so yet, but my only other update is that we've ordered Apple Vision Pro.  When we get the paperwork for the study done I can bring slides to present at one of our meetings.  Scooter: we don't plan to order it currently.  Have you heard anything about an affordable version? Andi: No. Phil: we don't plan to get one either. Andi: we'll compare the pass-through video vs. Meta Quest 3. TomG: sounds from the review like the Apple Vision Pro has a much faster frame rate. Andi: we didn't get any extras, except the Apple Care support. Can show in this meeting when it arrives. TomG: curious about the user interface, gaze-directed focus.
