    v53 v54
5353Phil: we will need titles and lengths of time for the workshops on Wednesday in the classroom. Meghan: still haven't nailed down when the classroom is available.  Phil: maybe 3 workshops, TomG general/cryoEM, Zach  medical imaging, Scooter (Cytoscape?).  TomG: how big are the FAES classrooms?  Darrell: room has 3 segments with partitions between, so the full room is quite large and could seat 60. Tables, electric outlets, dual projectors.  Phil: can have 2 workshops running at the same time.

55 Elaine: topics mentioned last week: ChimeraX in general, AlphaFold, cryoEM applications, medical imaging, VR.  Lower priority, if time/interest permits, Cytoscape.

57Meghan: time length for workshops to reserve classrooms?  TomG: let's say 5 hours and we can figure out the divisions between them into the various workshops.  We can send brief titles and approximate times. Meghan, Phil: if we can't get the FAES classroom for that whole time, we can use other room(s) too.

5759Meghan: I forgot to ask Nada about possibility of direct reimbursement for trip expenses from Guidehouse earlier, will do that soon.

6567Meghan and Andi discuss the SOW (in progress) for their VR user study. Andi: I'd like to present this at one of the meetings, would take 15 minutes. Others: sounds good.

67 TomG: we got a 4070 graphics card, not a 4070 TI.  Is that what we were going to try, or is that the wrong one?  Phil: laptops (?) have the 4070, PC has 4070 TI. We temporarily thought we fixed it by turning off mirroring, but we still have the problem after that.  Flickering (or almost a peripheral vision effect) of a green outline of a city skyline across the bottom of the headset when using ChimeraX VR tethered.  Andi: particular headset?  Phil: all of our headsets, 3 different kinds.
