    v64 v65
603603TomG: looked at the NIAID TB-VR experience website, sent feedback to Phil.  Phil: here's the URL, public now: https://tbportals.niaid.nih.gov/tb-in-vr TomG: "save" GLTF has a "center" option.  Maybe we should make the default "center 0,0,0" ... downside is when the user wants to preserve the relative locations of multiple structures.

    605 == 5/11/2023 ==
606 Phil, Scooter, Zach, Renata, Greg, Tom, Eric. Kristin, Mehgan
    607
608 Mehgan: Dmitry at Seattle doing VR work including with clinical applications
    609
610 Zach: Nifty & NRRD support.  TCIA lists ChimeraX as an analysis tool -- Federick labs still sending bugs (lots of interest)
    611
612 Eric: pseudo-bond error (pseudo bonds don't always connect to the ribbon).  Phil is going to review ticket again and see how important it is
    613
    614 Elaine: introduction
    615
616 Greg: introduction, work on small molecules
    617
618 Tom: VR standalone, Quest Pro broken, Quest Pro very effective.  Discussion about the resolution of the camera in the Quest Pro
    619
620 Phil: Confusion about Mac install (does Universal installer install M1?)
    621
622 Kristin: High priority NIH3D issues
623 * No color modules should always use materials, not vertex coloring (small molecules use vertex colors).  Possibly the GLTF writer could potentially switch from vertex coloring to material coloring if the color is all the same
624 * Resolution of surface models is inconsistent between chimera and chimerax.  Chimera is higher resolution is higher resolution.
625 * Issue with shading and 3D printing (possibly drop normal vectors)
