• Back tape robotics
  • Tom Ferrin did not get tape robotics to work.
  • Eric said it was broken by a label on a tape that came detached.
  • Tom will open case and see if anything obvious can be fixed.

• Plato imap and ssh attacks
  • Greg says getting lots of IMAP and ssh attacks on plato.
  • Discussed using failtoban to block them.

• Email download delays
  • Elaine says emails sometimes take 5 minutes to download from plato after Mac email client gives summary.
  • Tom Ferrin and Greg say it is probably beegfs file system temporary problems.
  • Greg suggests that setting up a JBOD on plato 4 nodes would allow putting mail inboxes on JBOD to improve delivery time.

• Next group meetings
  • Piet will present Schol-AR demo next week July 18
  • TomG will present work in progress (probably foldseek) July 25
  • Selina is up after that and may need to be rescheduled.

• Medical imaging raycasting
  • Zach fixed rendering speed with medical imaging raycasting.
  • May be fast enough for use in VR.

• Total Segmentator
  • We don't qualify for academic license.
  • License fees are prohibitive (tens of thousands of dollars per year).

• Web services
  • Zach working on allowing web services to queue a job on Wynton.
  • Zach needs ability to run wynton jobs enabled
