• Wynton downtime
  • Wynton will be down up to 5 days Oct 14-18.
  • Network access storage on plato nodes will be setup during downtime.
  • Scratch SSDs in current plato nodes will be erased. Get your data off of them.
  • Greg is looking at how to make web sites show a downtime message. Tom Ferrin says Conrad tried years ago and it was more difficult than expected.
  • CGL email will be forwarded during downtime.

  • UCSF is licensing 500 seats for ChatGPT "edu".
  • It will be incorporated into current UCSF AI service Versa front-end.

  • Main way tomoDRGN does better than cryoDRGN on subtomogram particles may be that it knows all tilt slices for one particle belong to the same structure.
  • Also tomoDRGN corrects for degraded signal in high-tilt angle slices.
