• Wynton maintenance
  • BeeGFS going down Monday 10 AM and will be updated.
  • Machine room power turned off Monday evening.
  • Downtime Monday through Friday.
  • During downtime Greg and Scooter will install NAS (local networks storage) on plato nodes.
  • BeeGFS filesystem will be scanned to check for disk errors that will take many days, could go into weekend.
  • /scratch on plato nodes will be removed to put those SSDs in NAS.
  • Elaine will announce downtime to Chimera and ChimeraX mailing lists.
  • TomG will tweet downtime.

• Group meeting next week
  • Next week's group meeting cancelled due to downtime.
  • Take Selina out of group meeting rotation since she started grad school.

• Trac databases
  • Currently using sqlite database. Gets corrupted.
  • Requires restarting web server to recover Trac.
  • Email to Trac comes from another machine modifying database on network filesystem and locking may not work correctly.
  • Trac database locking problems have been reported by others.
  • Replace sqlite with MySQL/MariaDB reported as solving those locking problems.
  • Greg is fixing Trac integrity errors during database conversion.
